Fresenius Medical Care’s two community-based Home Therapy clinics provide training and support to people requiring renal therapy who choose to be treated in their home environment.
The Warwick and Coolbellup Home Therapy clinics are the first of their kind to gain national accreditation by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). ACHS is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare in Australia through continual review of performance, assessment and accreditation.1
Located in the north and south of Perth, the Warwick and Coolbellup clinics support more than 300 people requiring both Haemodialysis (HD) and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
Our dedicated healthcare professionals are focused on empowering people to achieve their desire of returning home by ensuring they are confident in their education and are safely able to manage their dialysis therapy independently. The Fresenius Medical Care team then conducts the specific home installation, regular clinical follow-ups and bi-annual home support visits to guarantee that each individual on home dialysis is well-supported throughout their treatments.
Both Home Therapy clinics service all metro, country and remote areas of Western Australia allowing every person on home dialysis the possibility of accessing the best renal care available.
