EQuIP national accreditation involves a comprehensive, organisation-wide assessment of National Safety and Quality Health Service standards. Our continuous quality improvement culture, quality ensuring systems and focus on patient needs ensured the successful accreditation.

Fresenius Medical Care has received on 10th February 2015 nationwide accreditation from the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards’ (ACHS) newly-introduced “EQuIP National Day Procedure Centres” program.

Fresenius Medical Care is the first provider to have achieved accreditation throughout its entire dialysis clinic network in Australia and reflects the consistently high standard of care patients can expect at all of our dialysis clinics, irrespective of whether they are in city, rural or remote settings.

EQuIP national accreditation involves a comprehensive, organisation-wide assessment of National Safety and Quality Health Service standards. Our continuous quality improvement culture, quality ensuring systems and focus on patient needs ensured the successful accreditation.

Not only did Fresenius Medical Care meet all 15 accreditation standards but achieved the highest rating (‘Met with merit’) in three criterion, two in controlling and preventing healthcare associated infections and one in workforce planning and management.

The accreditation report included praise in particular for the way we partner with consumers resp. patients and carers:
