MALPA Closing the Gap

Chronic health problems such as renal failure continuously plague Indigenous communities. The life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians is 19 years.

The MALPA Project collaborates with Indigenous community members to provide health promotion programs and services to address the significant unmet needs of many Indigenous communities, particularly rural and remote ones. This story shows one of the commissioned programs called “Painting For The Future”.
